Overview

Introduction:

NBAAP launched on 14th November 2022 during the G20 Summit in Bali, is a groundbreaking partnership that goes beyond the realm of government. This collaborative initiative brings together the Government of Indonesia (GoI), eight United Nations agencies, and 12 development partners, creating a powerful alliance to drive sustainable development and address pressing global challenges. 

Purposes:

At NBAAP, we believe that true progress is achieved through collaboration and the effective use of diverse perspectives. Our primary mission is to accelerate the attainment of GoI's development targets on the Blue Agenda within the framework of the RPJMN 2020-2024, along with global agenda such as the UN Decade on Restoration and the UN of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development as well as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

We believe in the power of collaboration and strong data. That’s why we use program mapping to collect essential baseline information, which is key to our progress. This process helps us identify areas where we can improve and discover new opportunities. With this foundation, we create well-informed strategies and action plans that guide us towards achieving the goals of the blue agenda.
